BORDERS ESPRESSO

Our third edition of Borders comes from a very exciting producer, Veronica Mego, based in the Cutervo area of Cajamarca. For this lot, the washed coffee is fermented for 2 days in bags, then sundried for 15 days due to the cooler micro climate. We’re tasting creamy, puckering cherries and cranberries, delicious almond amaretti biscuits, and lots of those classic brown sugar and chocolate notes that make washed Peru’s some of our favourite coffees here at the roastery.

Altitude: 1950 MASL

Varieties: Catuai, Bourbon, Catimor

Process: Washed

Region: Santo Tomas, Cutervo, Cajamarca, Peru
