This washed community lot from Henry and Ciro Castro, and neighbouring farms, is a sweet and delicate cup. Soft stone fruits like greengage plums combine with a deep caramel sweetness. Add in a pleasing, slightly unripe watermelon note (that refreshing bite when you're almost at the rind!) and we have ourselves yet another delicious washed Peruvian coffee. It's our third coffee of the year from Cajamarca, and no wonder- we're in love with the deep sugars, soft acidity and interesting complexity of these coffees.
